A bomber crash in WWII stole Lyn’s father when she was just 3 months old. That experience shapes the multi-layered acrylic paintings she makes today. Images from WWII and a long-forgotten childhood book, “L’Histoire de Babar” by Jean de Brunhoff, re-emerge in themes of war and conflict, loss and remembrance.
Lyn has BA with a Fine Arts Major from U of Windsor, and has studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts, York University, University of Guelph, and the British Institute of Florence, Italy.
In 2012 she produced a YouTube video – War Painting – “Dies Irae” (Day of Anger).
