Eva McCauley is a figurative painter/printmaker and was born in London, Ontario. Her work explores the process of recollection and how we process memories.
She divides her time between making work in Ireland and in her studio in Elmira, Ontario. She has visited Ireland on many different occasions, and has been invited to attend the Cill Rialaig Artist Retreat in Co. Kerry as artist-in-residence six times (2007, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2015 and 2016) . She is also a musician, playing traditional Irish music on fiddle, mandolin and concertina.
