The East Side Library is a branch of the Guelph Public Library, located at 1 Starwood Dr. We are able to provide display space for wall art only on a monthly basis.
Hanging capacity is 10-30 pieces, depending on size. Individuals or groups are welcome to submit a proposal.
Please keep in mind that the work should be suitable for a family-oriented, community space. Artists are responsible for hanging and removing work. There is no charge for this space.
When submitting, please include:
-your full name and email address
-4-8 images of work representative of what you intend to display (per participant, if in a group)
-a brief bio/artist statement
-proposal of available dates, with alternatives if possible

Opportunity to exhibit and sell work at the Registry Theatre Gallery in Kitchener, Ontario from June 6th – 25th. Work will be on display during the Theatre's busy season with 100% of all proceeds going to the selling artists.

The work will be showcased as the additional visual component to a one-night special performance of experimental theatre. The production, “Stories Within The Forest” incorporates visual arts, music, and an evening focused on belonging, community, and storytelling by indigenous and non-indigenous artists.

You are invited to participate in GCAA Art in Old Quebec Street on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are spaces for 12 artists/artisans that need grids to display their art and four other vendor spots.

The Town of Halton Hills is pleased to announce the call for submissions to this year’s Locally Grown exhibition at the Helson Gallery. The exhibition will be on view from July 11 – September 9 2018.
The exhibition is open to artists residing in Halton Hills or those who are members of local arts organizations. While there is no specific theme for this year’s exhibition, we are looking for an overview of recent work being produced in Halton Hills. Works should be completed within the past 24 months and should not have been previously exhibited at the Gallery or Cultural Centre. Original works in all media are eligible to a maximum of 48 inches in any dimension. Lockable cases are available for display of three dimensional works. You may offer your work for sale but it is not a criteria for eligibility. Please note that the Town of Halton Hills takes a 20% commission (plus HST on the 20%) on any art sales.

Call for Entries: Aesthetica Art Prize Now Open for Submissions
The Aesthetica Artt Prize is an opportunity for artists to gain further exposure through publication in the Future Now: 100 Contemporary Artists annual, and to exhibit their work at the Aesthetica Art Prize Exhibition, hosted in the city of York, UK.
There are two categories for entry; the Emerging Prize which is open to current students and artists who have graduated within the last two years, and the Main Prize, open to all including those eligible for the Emerging Prize.
Artists can submit work to one of four categories: Photographic & Digital Art; Three-Dimensional Design & Sculpture; Painting, Drawing & Mixed Media and Video; and Installation & Performance.
Prizes include: £5,000 for the Main Prize, £1,000 for the Emerging Prize, group exhibition hosted by Aesthetica, Editorial coverage, Publication in the Future Now annual, art supplies and books supplied by Prize sponsors.

Overzealous Fine Art Exhibition
Overzealous Fine Art invites emerging and established artists to participate in Overzealous 2018. Currently in its 3rd year, Overzealous has its roots in Guelph, but this year will be showing in Toronto. The Neilson Park gallery can hang 50 pieces, is fully staffed and is open to the public everyday.Overzealous is becoming the most anticipated juried show that fosters creativity in the artistic community. Our 2018 Juror is Katie Wilde, a brilliant and well known Guelph artist. Overzealous 2018 theme is 'As I See It' and aims to bring together artists practicing in all media and styles.
